The Republican Women of Frederick County
Founded on September 9, 1920, the Republican Women of Frederick County (RWFC) is the oldest continuously operating Republican women’s club in the nation. Established just days after the ratification of the 19th Amendment, our organization began with women who understood the importance of having a voice in shaping the future of our county, state, and nation. More than a century later, that purpose continues to guide us.
Our work is grounded in our Christian faith and the conviction that faith and family are the foundation of a healthy and free society. We believe these values belong at the heart of our political process and that public policy should reflect a genuine concern for people, families, and the places we call home.
Through education, outreach, thoughtful discussion, and support for candidates who share our principles, we work to preserve individual liberty, promote responsible government, support parents and families, and help make Frederick County a better place to live, work, and raise the next generation. We believe politics should be about serving people, not simply serving a party.
As members of the Maryland Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women, we connect with women across our state and nation who share a commitment to faith, family, and the future of our communities.
